When animals are poorly or recovering from injury or surgery, they can’t have a nurse visit them in their homes like we might.
But vet nurse Carla Finzel is trying to change this. She’s a district nurse for pets and tends to them in the comfort of their own homes.
This takes away the stress for owners and means animals don’t have to travel to the vets which can be upsetting and uncomfortable.
Carla’s work is extraordinary and could be a real game changer for pets and owners. I interviewed her and her story appeared in the Sunday Express.
