Do you grab a ‘healthy’ breakfast when you’re on the go or your morning commute?
I’ve done this plenty of times, but it was only when I stopped to look at the nutritional information on a Bircher Muesli pot that I realised just how sugar filled they are.
For this story for the Daily Star Sunday, I looked at breakfast offerings from the cafes and coffee shops on the high street and how much sugar, calories and fat were in each.
The results were shocking. A bacon butty from Burger King turned out to be one of the healthiest options of all when it came to calories, fat and sugar.
