Regular readers will know I love writing about pets and with so many pet cameras on the market I was really keen to see which one was the best.
In this round up for Indy Best, I tried out the Pawbo, Furbo, Petcube, Vimtag, Motorola Scout, Hive and Clever Dog.
The cameras have a range of features from treat dispensers to laser beams and keep an eye on your pet when you can’t be with them.
While nothing replaces spending time with our furry friends, being able to see what they’re up to can be a comfort for owners and pets too, especially if they’re being tossed a treat!
The most important thing is that you don’t leave your pet alone for too long.
The advice from the RSPCA is they should be left for a maximum of four hours.
Lisa Richards Scientific Officer and dog welfare expert from the charity said: “We are a nation of pet lovers and I think, if we could, we’d be with our beloved animals all day long.
“Knowing how our dogs behave when we’re not there can be really helpful, and if they’re not coping alone we can take steps to help them feel more relaxed and to learn that being alone can be fun!”
